Policing & Risk Management

What we do

The Directorate of Policing and Risk Management (DPRM) was formed to provide strategic policy advice, guidance and assistance to the Executive Director on the implementation of law enforcement policies, practices, procedures and initiatives for the Regional Security System (RSS) Member States’ Police Forces. As the lead on policing matters, the DPRM drives the development of the Common Policing Standards (CPS) for the Member States, supports the establishment of programmes with appropriate inspection and accountability structures and leads on plans to improve the inter-operability mechanisms between the Member States and international partners. The DPPRM also has responsibility for the Digital Forensics Lab and the Regional Crime Observatory.
